OUR PASTORS

Pastors Darius and Melba Dunson met at the University of West Georgia and have been married for over 29 years. Together, they’ve raised four children and faithfully served in ministry for more than two decades. For the past 15 years, they’ve worked in multiple pastoral roles at Victory Church in Norcross, GA, eventually becoming Associate Campus Pastors before stepping into the role of Campus Pastors at Victory North Cobb in January 2022.

During their time leading Victory North Cobb, the church experienced significant growth. Now, with the blessing and support of Victory’s senior pastors, Johnson and Summer Bowie, the Dunsons are expanding into their next phase of ministry. They are launching A1:8 Church, a vision born from the Acts 1:8 legacy introduced to them by the Founding Pastors of Victory Church and their spiritual overseers, Dennis and Colleen Rouse.

Darius and Melba are passionate and authentic teachers of the bible. Darius has received a Master of Theological Studies from the Liberty University John W. Rawlings School of Divinity. With a heart to reach Cobb County and beyond, they are so excited to birth a house of prayer, worship, and solid biblical teaching that will help people of many cultures Know Jesus, Grow in community, and Go tell others about Him.

Rwanda Mission Trip – June 2026

Our mission team will witness firsthand how God has been at work in Rwanda for the past 25 years as we partner with Africa New Life Ministries, an organization transforming the lives of more than 11,500 students and their families.

We’ll visit sponsored children, bless their families with food and supplies, and connect with women in the Women’s Development Program, where vocational training, childcare, and Christian discipleship help break cycles of poverty and build strong families and communities.

Through scholarships provided, home visits, and shared experiences, our team looks forward to learning, serving, and discovering new ways to partner in this life-changing work—while trusting that we will receive as much as we give. You can join us by donating, following the journey, or connecting with our Missions Department, as together we help Rwandan families experience hope, opportunity, and the love of Christ.
